Those who know me personally know that I like to sort and organize things. I make schedules and plan ahead. I make lists and Excel is one of my best friends.
Are you anything like me?
When I coach people and when I talk with all kinds of audiences I meet a lot of people fighting their to-do-lists that keep getting longer no matter how hard they work.
Many of them also have lists of all the things they want to do, all the things they dream of and so on.
I want you to turn this around for you.
How about stop weighing you down with all those lists of what you have yet to do or the lists of what you feel you have to do.
How about cheering you up, boosting your confidence and create some great energy for you by listing up everything you have achieved?
We tend to look at things, and ourselves, with too negative lenses and being too harsh on ourselves, focusing more on what is wrong, in some other way than we would like it to be or what we have yet to do – instead of focusing on what is good, the way we want it or what we have achieved.
Be good to yourself – give yourself the credit for what you have achieved, which I know are many great things.
I encourage you to go right now and get a pen and paper and make your List of Achievements!
Please don´t be shy or have some misunderstanding of having to be modest. Brag! (You don´t have to show this list to anybody if you don´t want to).
Just list up everything you have achieved and you are proud of, small things, big things and everything in between.
Use this list to remind you of everything you are capable of and use that feeling to take next steps towards your dreams and vision.
