When things don´t look so good
Have you ever had moments or days when you feel you are not doing so well or that some things in your life, private or professional, are not so great?
If it makes you feel any better let me assure you that you are not alone!
This may be some things related to yourself, your family or friends, coworkers, the economy or something else.
On those days you may wish you could press “rewind” on the tape, that you could change things or just somehow make things better.
Looking for a second chance?
We both know that you cannot go back in time. If you are not happy with some of the things mentioned above, if some of your plans don´t work out, if you feel like victim in your situation or if you feel like you keep falling back or taking more steps backward than forward you have to make some changes.
The first thing you have to change is you and your way of thinking since you are stuck with yourself even though other things change. Adjust or change your plans. Think like a winner. Make decision from where you want to be rather than where you are right now. Think more about what you have than what you may be lacking, make the most out of what you got. Change the things you can change and don´t waste your time or energy on things you cannot change, like the past and other people.
Every morning you wake up to a new day – how well do you use those new beginnings?
Give yourself a second chance, like a child learning to walk. When you see a child take the first steps and then fall down, you do not tell the child to just sit. You encourage it to try again.
You are not defined by how many times you fall but how you stand up – and you only need to stand up one more time than you fall, whether in your private or professional life.
