Are you holding on to things – afraid of “giving up” or looking like a looser?
In my business as a speaker and an executive coach I meet a lot of people.
In my business and in my own life I have met too many people that are doing things they don´t like doing.
Sadly the reason being them just too afraid of looking like losers, if they quit.
This can be various things. The job they have. A project they are working on. A business they are running, or various more personal matters.
Can you relate to this?
I´m not saying that you never have to do things you don´t like doing. But doing it for a long period of time can break your spirit and drain you of all energy. Especially if you are not seeing any changes on the horizon.
So much more empowering to consciously choose what is right for you!
Now take things into your own hands.
If you feel like giving up. If you feel you are not doing what you want to be doing. If you feel that what you are doing is not taking you closer to where you want to go. If the things you are doing are helping you be who you want to be, or feel how you want to feel. Then choose to do something different. This is not a matter of giving up, quitting or being a loser. Just simply choose what you feel is right for you.
I´m not saying that you will never ever again have to do things that you don´t like.
Here the key is to be aware of how much time and energy you put into those things.
Of course this may change from time to time, what you like and what you choose. But then again, it is also OK to change your mind.
Just make sure to use your ability to choose, your time and your energy in a way that serves you best. To be your best and live the life you want. Both at work and at home. Choosing consciously and wisely is not the same as giving up.
