I believe the best way to do that is with Self-Leadership, in work and life.
That means to help individuals and groups to have a balanced Success, in all areas of their lives, at the same time.
As a speaker I have, for the last few years, given from 25 – 60 presentations and lectures a year, in icelandic and english, in Iceland and other countries.

The number of presentations and lectures I have given are in the hundreds for all kinds of organizations, and for thousands of individuals. My largest audience so far was about 300 people.
Most of my presentations are on how to have 360° Success, so that the organizations and the individuals that work there can Succeed together. Also on how to be somebody´s “Best manager I´ve ever had”.
I have a 15 years management experience, currently holding a VP position – but with a strong need to give more, and work with people in a different way than I can do in that position.
I also have a MBA degree, with concentration in Human Resources, and B.Ed
Because of this strong need and interest of helping people grow, I decided to create a new path for me, to take along my current job.
A path where I could use my education, my experience in life and my passion for working with people and to see them grow, in life and work, and be successful in what they do.
I am a published author, a speaker, a coach and a business consultant and through those ways I work with people to find their power and use it for more happiness and success, both in their work or life.
I also have an ACC certification from ICF (International Coaching Federation) which means that I am internationally certified as a coach.
I am a member of Women Speakers Association, global community reaching women in over 120 countries on 6 continents.
For the past 15 years I have been gathering alls kinds of knowledge for my work and for my personal growth and development.
I have attended all kinds of courses, workshops and conferences on management, human resources and personal growth.

Interview with me on my work
How long have you been a speaker and how did you become expert in coaching and inspiration?
I have been doing a lot of inspirational work in my career for the last 15 years or so and I probably have been doing a lot of coaching over the years, in my various management positions and teaching, without knowing it was coaching or having any formal training or certification on my coaching.
In the year of 2010 I took my first workshop in Coaching. In the beginning of 2012 I went for a coaching program at Reykjavik University and CoachU. As of spring of 2013 I´m internationally certified as an ACC Executive Coach.
I have shared stories, given examples, encouraged and used inspiration very much in my management roles over the years. Then in the last 10 years or so I have been doing a lot of reading, researching, speaking and more on Positive Psychology and that´s how inspiration has become one of my specialties.
Who are your clients?
My clients are actually of two kinds.
Firstly; Organizations that hire me for inspirational speaking, management training or to coach their managers.
Secondly; Individuals that come to me for private coaching, attend my courses or buy my online programs and products.
Most of my clients in my private coaching are about 35-55 years of age. Most of them have college or university degrees. A lot of them also have high profile jobs or own their own companies. Almost all of them have that in common that they feel they either can do better, or need more balance with their various roles and challenges in work and life.
By doing better I mean that they know they are capable of more, of having more fulfillment, happiness and success (however they define that for themselves), all at the same time.
What kind of personalities do you work best with?
I work best with people that are willing to do what it takes to have a 360° Success, more fulfilling and rewarding life, both in their work and life. People that are willing to turn their decisions into actions are my kind of people. Positive view on life and eagerness to make the most of it, in every way, is also something that I prefer with my customers.
How do you work? What can I expect?
In my speaking I love lighting a spark with my audiences, help them wake up to their highest potentials and their lives, to their strengths and talents, and find ways to have Success in all areas of their lives.
In my coaching I love supporting and challenging my customers, all of them are capable of doing better than they believe when they come to me. In my coaching, even though I can be demanding of my people, it is very much allowed to laugh and have fun – as long as result is the focus.
What return can I expect on my investment (ROI) if I decide to work with you?
It varies a lot how my customers calculate their ROI from working with me.
Some organizations have increased the income in their businesses, improved the quality of their decision making, improved the energy management of their employees, improved cooperation between departments and individuals and more.
Some individuals have gotten promotions faster than they expected, some have landed their dream jobs, some got the courage to leave their jobs and some calculate their ROI based on having more fulfillment, happiness, confidence and success in general in their lives.
Can I sign up for just one session in private coaching with you?
No. I don´t take on new customers for less than 3 months. Coaching is not a quick fix.
How is coaching different from consulting or what psychologist do?
Consultants and psychologist give you answers, plans, action-steps etc. to your challenges, coaches do not.
Why will you not give me the answers or advice on my challenges?
Because I believe you know better than me what is best for you. If I would give you answers they would be based on my experiences, not yours. I believe you have all your answers and I can help you find them and work with them, for your success.
Why should I work with a coach?
There are many reasons actually. But in today´s environment you are probably dealing with all kinds of challenges, disturbance, connections and more so it may be hard for you to stay focused and get out of life what you want, whether in your private or professional life.
In my speaking to various groups of different size I have gotten great review. I´m inspirational, good with lighting a spark with people and helping them turn decisions into actions.
Having a coach is like having an ally on your journey, someone that supports you, encourages you to be your best, gives you new perspective on what you are dealing with, pushes you when you need that and celebrates with you when things go well.
Why should I work with you?
If you need inspiration for your group then I´m a speaker you should look into, especially if you want your group to hear about topics such as Self-leadership, Heart Based Leadership, Energy Management and more.
I´m also a challenging coach, so if you want to do your best to be your best then I am very good at pushing people to become, and do everything they are capable of. There doesn´t have to be anything wrong to get a coach – just that you want to use your talents, options and opportunities better and find ways around possible obstacles and to be all that you are capable of being, both in your private and professional life.
Does this really work?
Attending inspirational presentations from time to time is necessary, like taking a bath regularly! Some of them remind you of things you already know and push you to use your talents better. Other teach you something new.
Regarding coaching, it does work but the results vary between clients, mainly due to difference in how much people are willing to do or how well they are using the coaching relationship.
What results can I expect?
If you are willing to do what is needed, in order to get the results you are looking for, then you will get those results. For some this may be putting more decisions into actions, better work-life balance, clearer focus on where you want to go with the challenges you are dealing with etc.
Why do I need you? Can´t I just do this on my own?

I´ve never invested in me and my people like this before. How can I justify this expense?
I sometimes quote Einstein and say “If you keep on doing what you have always done, at the best you will get the same as you have always got”. So if you want something more out of what you are doing, as a leader and as a person, then it is the same with you as everything else. If you want to grow or develop yourself and your team, you have to invest in that growth to be able to expect the interests you are looking for.
